Summer Weekend Bliss

Well, the weekend is over, and it's back to reality.  Sad, right?  I think there is just something so magical about summer weekends, and I'm not quite ready to let go...

Over the weekend Adam and I had the best time up North at a resort called Taboo.  Because we don't have a cottage, we tend to head to resorts in cottage country to have some fun close to home during the sumer, and Taboo is our favorite.

The view from our balcony was perfect, I am always so happy to be on the water - It's good for the soul.

We rented a sea-doo and hit the water for some fun!  It's such a great refreshing way to enjoy the sun while staying cool.

We spent plenty of time reading mags, books, and our kobos, which is always a perfect way to relax!

We went on a nice hike to get a little exercise while keeping out of the hot sun.

And we made a cute furry friend while in the forrest!  This little guy kept coming back to see what we were up too, and was more than happy to pose for a photo.

The sunsets from our balcony were breathtaking, I could never tire of that view!

Seeing as bugs can be very persistent at night, cozying up in front of the fire with a cocktail was the perfect way to relax.

Ahh yes, summer weekends are so blissful, if only they were longer!

  1. Wow beautiful location. Love cozy fires and cocktails are a must. Enjoy yourself:) Enjoyed shopping in a new centre on the weekend a bought up big!! and relaxed at my mum's apartment in the city. Enjoying a nice glass of wine.

  2. Looks like a fabulous weekend Staci! I wish we could get away somewhere north of the city for a weekend.

What I loved about our weekend, was finishing off a bunch of projects that we have had sitting on the back burner for quite some time now. We figured now was as good a time as any as baby should be here very, very soon! :)

  3. Sounds like the perfect weekend. Since I just got back from Maui, I have no complaints about how I spent mine! xo

Oodles of thanks for the comment!
