Happy Weekend

"I am always studying and doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."
- Picasso

This weekend I will be doing, rather than studying.  As some of you may know I have been taking upholstery classes and apprenticing with an upholsterer, and yes, I love it!  I will be spending some time over the weekend working on some projects at home {I'll be posting some finished projects soon} - it's my new passion.  I really love the process of creating and taking something old and making it new again!

I am working on lots of great pieces {including a love seat for my dear friend Shannon from What's Up Whimsy - see all about it HERE} and I am looking for more to work on.  If you have pieces that need to be redone and are looking for a great price let me know - I'm currently offering "student rates" as I am kind of learning some stuff as I go with certain pieces {this deal won't be around for long as I am learning fast, so act quickly}, if you're interested please email photos of your piece to info@staciedwards.ca for a quote.  I also offer furniture refinishing, which I have been doing forever, so if you have pieces you need painted and updated feel free to contact me for that too!

Oh, and most importantly, what are you looking forward to about this long weekend?

  1. How fun to be taking an upholstery class! This weekend I'm heading down to my sisters (only and hour away) as my niece gets ready for her Senior Ball. I cannot believe she's graduating in a 3 weeks. So excited for her! Happy Weekend, Staci.

P.S. your guest post will be up Monday!
