I love this clean look, and these are fairly simple to create! All you do is glue wooden letters to canvas and then spray paint it all white {or whatever colour you like} and voila instant beauty!
I think these would look great hung on a kitchen wall! All you do is create a template out of thick cardboard by using one of your favorite fonts, and then glue on the corks. This is so simple, and gives such a charming result, don't you think?
This cute arrangement is also eco friendly, which makes me love it even more! These are old shoebox lids - you just paint them white, then create a chevron pattern using masking tape, and use a roller to paint them whatever colour you want. Once dry, just slowly peel back the tape and ta da - trendy chevron art!
Fun, quick, and easy with perfect results - now that is my kind of project! Have these ideas inspired you to create some of your own art?

I found wooden letters at http://www.craftcuts.com/
ReplyDeleteThey have many different options as far as thickness and height. I purchased 18 letters ($.75/each), 1/8" thick, 2" high for $18.45 (including shipping). It was a great find! : )
