The Tourist

The other night I watched the movie The Tourist, and I must say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.  I'm not usually a fan of Angelina Jolie, and I find Johnny Depp is too much of an 'over-actor' for my tastes, but this movie was not bad.  Have you seen it, and did you enjoy it?

Anyway, I am not here to host a movie review, I'm going to share a few accessories from Asprey London that Angelina's character was wearing during the film with you...

These beautiful earrings were worn in a few scenes.  They are called Ribbon Earrings in Citrine, and total 14.57 carats, set in 18 carat yellow gold, and the price is £4,000.

The black Mayfair Clutch in black polished crocidile with Asprey sterling silver bar fixture is a whopping £3,900.  The Pearl Necklace with pavé diamond clasp, set in 18 carat yellow gold is a beautiful classic piece, and has no price listed - probably not enough room on the website for all those 0's!  The Swirl Pearl Earings with pavé diamonds set in 18 carat white gold are priced at £5,250 and are exquisite.

And my favorite piece - the Regent Clutch in gold satin with gold plated finishes, priced at £1,175!

These little darlings come in a bunch of colours, and are also available in crocodile or python.  Classic beauties.  I'm not always about classic pieces, but they do serve their purpose and I do love these gorgeous items!  Do you?

  1. I just watched it, as well. I don't think it aspired to be a classic film, just a lighthearted action/romance - and that it was. Angelina looked ever-so-chic - but thin? She needs to beef up a little.

  2. Just saw this over the weekend, and while I wasn't blown away by the story, visually it's a stunning movie. Angelina was so glamorous and the Asprey accessories were just the perfect touch!

  3. Beautiful accessories! I agree though - for those prices you could have a lot more options to choose from - I still shop for the "right now" pieces but would love to invest in some classics that last longer than a year.

  4. I normally would have written this movie off because Angelina bothers me, but I am intrigued now!!

  6. I just watched this movie over the weekend and has the initial expectations as you did but throughly enjoyed it. Despite not being a big Angelina fan I have to say she has the face to pull off the dramatic role and wearing these gorgeous items throughout, helped a lot as well!

  7. I have not seen the movie and likely won't, but I certainly am enjoying a peek at the Asprey accessories and would like to add each and every one to my wardrobe. First, I require a closet expander.
