What I decided to do is focus on my favorite at the moment. I love this interior design for several reasons: 1. It’s Jennifer Lopez’s LA home and I am a huge fan of this season’s American Idol, 2. It was designed by the very talented designer Michelle Workman and 3. The space glamorous and opulent, yet inviting. It was also recently featured in Veranda, so let’s take a closer look!
The kitchen is perhaps my
favorite room that was featured. In the space Workman incorporates cool
and calm gray-blue cabinets with white countertops, mirrored backsplash
and vintage-inspired black oven range. Double sinks, plenty of work space
and two dishwashers? I could live with all that. It’s a spectacular kicthen.
In the living room, a
gray-blue color palette is again used, but this time pairs it with taupe and
gold. Workman selects custom klismos chairs in Calvin Klein Home fabric for Kravet with a
romantic tête-à-tête sofa {Michael
Berman Limited}
in Casamance fabric. Tucked in the bay-style window, a white lacquer grand
piano awaits.
The dining room the Cole
& Son wallpaper is a soft pink hue sets a feminine tone. The long dining
table is paired with Baker tufted side chairs in a sophisticated silver
velvet and nailhead trim. The Swarovski crystal chandelier adds a
touch of Hollywood glam that keeps up with the trend-setting A-list star’s
image.
I love this guest bedroom
in a sweet peach. What guest wouldn’t love this romantic retreat? The custom
tufted bench, chandelier by DK Living and wall art by Jean Cocteau and Ana
Carballosa are my favorite elements.
