J'adore Schumacher Fabric

Over the weekend I made bought some old furniture pieces that really need some major TLC because I am planning to do some DIY projects - I can't wait!  I have a couple of chairs and plan on taking some upholstery classes to learn how to refinish them, and if I were to splurge on some stunning designer fabrics, I would do so at Schumacher.  I absolutely love so many of the lines they carry, here are some fun fabrics I found while getting a little inspiration on their website yesterday...

They are in no particular order, I really love them all equally.  Can you pick a favorite?  Or do you have a specific fabric you are dying to use?  I am really looking forward to getting my hands dirty with some DIY projects, it's been a while since I have really created something fun and crafty.  Hope some of the above fabrics have inspired you to create something too, and happy Monday!

  3. Good for you Staci! I can't wait to hear how the upholstery classes go because I will take them one day! And as for the Schumacher fabrics, I had never seen that first one, which I think is really cool, but Imperial Trellis is a big fav of mine.

  4. LOVE the vibrant orange and white pattern the most, but the overlapping grey hounds are awesome too ;)

  5. You are so smart to take a class, it is a lot harder to do than I thought, I did a simple rocking chair and Oh my!!! Well, I am not a DIYer and boy did it show on that project. Schumacher is the best, love their prints, It will be fun to follow along on your project. Have a super Monday,Kathysue

  7. My favourite is the yellow, black and grey Trina Turk fabric. I saw the most gorgeous vintage chairs upholstered in this last time I was in Jonathan Adler's shop in SOHO. Spec-tac-u-lar!

Would love to know where you are taking your upholstry classes. Hubby and I are thinking of doing something similar as I seem to have a chair problem - as in I can't stop buying them!
