Over the holidays I did a lot of thinking about my life online, and while I love blogging and tweeting, as I'm sure most of you know - it is very time consuming... Time that I am really short on.  I feel bad that I cannot comment on all of your lovely blogs as often as I like, and that I have lost touch with a lot of my Twitter and Facebook friends, but I must stay focused on business at SED.  I'm sure you all understand, and I hope that you will continue to visit and comment - I really enjoy hearing from you, and appreciate each and every one of you!

With that being said, I really don't want to cut back on days that I post because I have received wonderful feed back from some of you saying that you look forward to reading my posts daily with your morning coffee, or on your lunch break at work, and I love that!  So, I will continue to post daily - but some will be very short and sweet - hence this new series I am adding.  I have decided to add a time-saving-series to my blog, which I am sure you will all enjoy.  The posts will be simply titled "Inspiration" and it will be one photo that inspires me from my inspirational files!

To start off this new series here is an inspirational photo from M. Elle Design...

Don't you just love this glamourous tub juxtaposed against the rustic wood?  Heaven.

I hope you like my new little series, and that you understand my need to cut back a little.  Please let me know what you think, stay in touch, and have a very happy Wednesday my dears!

  1. Good for you for making the decision to cut back on your blogging right now - it's a time consuming process and you're putting your business first. No one can fault you for that! I will continue to enjoy your short-but-sweet posts and hope you'll find more time to do what you need to do for SED!
    Good on you, girl!

  2. Hi Staci, when I started my own blog I never new how time consuming it could be! I have decided to take mine off-line and may start up a new one, if time permits. That being said, I still love reading blogs so, I don't think I'll be cutting back on that!

I love m.elle design too! they have done some really beautiful things!

    have a great day!

  3. completely understood... lovely photo!

  4. Staci, I completely understand what you're talking about. I do love your new series. The tub is to die for!

  5. I totally understand Staci. It's tough keeping up with all of these mediums. I feel like I have lost touch with a lot of people out there but it would be superhuman to keep it all going. You keep focusing on SED!

And great idea for a new series! Love that bathroom!

  6. No kidding Staci, it's like a full time job reading and commenting... Ha! Totally understand. That bath is divine.

  7. Hey Staci, don't worry about not posting daily. I like reading your blog and not because you post on a daily basis. I read your blog because of you and its contents. It's actually quite hard for me to read all my favourite blogs everyday or even weekly, so as long as you post content and your stay true to yourself, your readers will come back. I know I will.

  8. That's a tub I could soak in for hours and hours... beautiful!

I know how you feel about the time spent blogging. It takes a lot of hours to research & write posts. So I totally understand the reasoning behind your new "Inspiration" series.

As the saying goes, a picture says a thousand words :-)

  9. I totally feel your pain! Its funny because my post today was along the same lines- talking about the struggles of finding balance in life- its sooo tough. Keep doing your thing girl! Beautiful tub- I could use a little relaxing soak in that right about now!

  10. Hi Staci...I think this is a great idea and I've noticed that many bloggers handle it this way. Stunning tub!

  11. You are so right!!! I can barely eek out 3-4 post a week.....It will just have to do :)

Oodles of thanks for the comment!
