{Designer Interior}

Today I am very excited to share with you the home of iconic fashion designer Max Azria!  It is a wonderfully whimsical space, filled with designer pieces and individual twists.

This is Max with his gorgeous wife Lubov and their 6 children in their Los Angeles home.  What is hanging from the ceiling you ask?  That is custom laser-cut chrome garland, how unique!

This photo speaks for itself... Wow!  What an incredible foyer!

This is Max's very whimsical office which obviously provides him with lots of inspiration!  My favorite part of this office is the area rug designed by Paul Smith.

 In this room they have customized the Zettel'z 5 Chandelier by using family photos, how sweet!

I like how they displayed their Fornasetti Plates as an anomaly in the repeated pattern of the framed wallpaper displays!

Another designer piece in this home - The Bubble Chair, again a very fun piece!

I love that their collection of sunburst mirrors are all displayed along this wall, because they are all the same colour it works.  {This makes me think I should start collecting sunburst mirrors!}

I have always wanted a space with a ladder for floor to ceiling bookshelves, and the Silver Baroque Table is a lovely edition to any room.

The focal point in this room is the Swarovski Crystal Palace Chandelier designed by Tord Boontje.  I really think this is one of my favorite posts to date, but I'm curious to know what do you think of this amazing home.  Do you love, love, love it?

  2. There are lots of elements in this home that I love a lot!! I think it's great that although this is obviously a huge home worth loads of money, it doesn't take itself too seriously. I mean, check out that huge orange horse in the first picture!!

    Love the laser cut chrome garland, the room with the yellow wall and Zettel'z 5 chandelier, and the collection of sunburst mirrors. And the dining room.... oh-la-la, that's some serious glam & bling!!

  4. It's gorgeous - love this post too. I've used multiple mirrors on one wall before and I love the effect of the sparkle off the light. The bubble chair is nice to look at but she certainly does not look comfortable in it wearing a mega-bucks gown!

  8. My favourite rooms are the one with the sunburst mirrors and the library with the ladder. Some of it is a bit over the top but it looks like a fun home - I'm sure with six kids it is!
