{Kishan Does Grey}

When I think of designer Kishan Perera I think of fun, whimsy, and bold colour!  But while looking at her inspiring work over the weekend I came across these lovely rooms that she did with a fairly neutral grey palette with small pops of colour, while still maintaining a sense of whimsy...

The chandelier in this room would make me look up in awe, with a child like innocence... How fun!

The lively pops of pink along with the zebra rug are definitely the wow factors in this space!

By taking these wing back chairs and painting the show wood details a contemporary grey, and upholstering them in a striped fabric it takes them from traditional to fun!  Even without the use of Kishan's regular use of bold colour I'd say she still did an amazing job at keeping these spaces whimsical, don't you think?

  2. I love these photos! The last one has actually been in my files for a while because I loved the artwork and wanted to try and replicate it. I even bought letter stencils, but haven't followed through yet - I know the last photo is for sure from some celebrity's home, but I can't remember whose it is!!??

  4. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pictures.....Love gray as it is a good, classic neutral. In my interiors, I think it is the new black!
