{A Dream Mountain Retreat}

This lovely home designed by M. Elle Design has been featured on several blogs lately, so if you have seen it before my apologies and if you haven't please enjoy!  I just had to post it because it is so picturesque, and exactly what I would want for a cottage!

The outside of the home is not only adorable, but it's also very interesting to look at because of all the different finishes.  They all blend together nicely and tie in with the stunning surroundings.

Both entry ways are very welcoming and do a great job at foreshadowing what's to come!

The kitchen, breakfast nook, and formal dining areas all work together to create a lovely, warm space that would be perfect for entertaining friends and family.

 If I actually had this place as my cottage this is where I would write my blog! I love the large windows.

What a great room to cozy up in on rainy days with a book and a cup of tea!  So rustic and cozy.

This bedroom does not look to be very large, but because of that fantastically high ceiling and the brightness of the room it seems so spacious.

The ensuite ties in beautifully with the bedroom, and what a superb way to start your day, don't you think?  My favorite part is the concrete sinks, it really ties in with the rustic look of the rest of the home!
I hope you enjoyed this exquisite getaway home as much as I did!  What is your favorite room or detail of this home?
Have a great Wednesday!

  2. WOW. I want this cottage!! It puts our 1950s cottage to shame!! So hard to choose just one favourite room or detail.... so I'll choose the staircase, the bedroom (especially the vaulted ceiling), the wood beam ceiling, the black steel frame windows, and the stone wall in the kitchen. Oh, and the view :-)
